Advent Calendars & Beauty Sets 2022

One could say finding an amazing bargain is almost as satisfactory to me as the actual purchase, but with advent calendars or beauty sets the actual purchase and discovery of newness makes the thrill even more enticing. A worthy advent calendar or set of beauty products can get me drooling and weak in the knees within seconds.

Advent calendar shopping isn’t all magical-savings-unicorn-glitter time though. However fun it may be to discover new products, I am rather cautious and picky with skin care and tend to stick to a limited amount of brands, so I’ve luckily formed the slightly healthier habit of asking myself before advent calendar / beauty set purchasing:

1. which of these products would I buy in their full sizes?, 2. do those products more or less amount to the price of the set?, and 3. am I actually running out of the main stars / most valuable products or actives featured in this set or calendar? So basically, will I actually use the majority? Luckily I have a sister, mother and boyfriend who are less particular about which creams they massage onto their delicate visages, so I gift them the products I won’t be using, justifying yet another purchase of beauty products I probably didn’t really need. Self-pamper savings time usually makes it a worthy endeavour for me though, and if you’re looking for a fantastic gift, look no further.

Feelunique doesn’t seem to have an advent calendar yet, but they often release “feel …” sets, with amazing value, worth keeping an eye on.

Rituals have a 2D calendar this year at €69,50 (worth €130), a 3D advent calendar at €99,50 (worth €160) and a Premium advent calendar at €149,50 (worth €250).

 

PARFUMDREAMS

Parfumdreams has advent calendars by e.g. Maybelline, Babor, Molton Brown, Kneipp, Essie, L.O.V., NYX, and Kiehls. Wish there would be more perfume advent calendars out there.

 

ACQUA DI PARMA

While I don’t particularly adore this house, and would never spend this type of money (£450) on an Acqua Di Parma advent calendar, I do appreciate the effort and wish more perfume houses would do this.
